Sustainable Practices
• We utilize SSC’s FoodPlus program for all of our biodegradable waste products (approximately 50 percent of our total waste), thereby reducing the need for landfills.
• We purchase locally, whenever possible, reducing the environmental impact of transporting goods long distances.
• Instead of using plastic cups, we’ve opted for GreenWare cold cups and parchment wrap, paper bags, and/or paper cups — all of which are biodegradable — for our to-go food and coffee drinks. We do not use Styrofoam.
